Cole caused Poland plenty of problems
England completed their Uefa Championship campaign and boosted their confidence before the play-offs with a comfortable victory against Poland.

Carlton Cole opened the scoring with a deft chip after latching on to Gary O'Neil's pass and Jerome Thomas made it 2-0 with a sidefoot shot from the left.

Steven Taylor added a third when he bundled the ball home before Poland's Marcin Kikut scored a fine solo goal.

After the break, Pawel Strak was sent off before Taylor sealed the win.
