Inter Milan's Portuguese winger Luis
Figo plans to permanently retire from international football after the 2006 World Cup finals in Germany.
After Euro 2004 Figo said he was taking an indefinite international break.
But in May Portugal's coach Luiz Felipe Scolari recalled Figo when he said he was ready to return to the squad.
With 116 appearances the 32-year-old Figo, who has scored 31 times since making his debut in 1991, is Portugal's most capped player.
Portugal secured their place in the 2006 World Cup finals on
Saturday with a 2-1 win over Liechtenstein.
