Scotland are without Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher, who was injured when he linked up with the side, so Dunfermline's Barry Nicholson comes into the side against Sweden.

Tommy Burns hands a surprise start to Celtic's Stephen Pearson wide on the left of midfield in his first game in charge of the side.

Celtic goalkeeper Magnus Hedman starts for Sweden, with Bhoys team-mate David Marshall at the other end of the ground.

The visitors also include Aston Villa defender Olof Mellberg, former Villa striker Marcus Allback and ex-Everton player Niclas Alexandersson.

England welcome back Wayne Bridge after injury into midfield where he will link up with Ashley Cole on the left-hand side in Spain.
