Pauleta fires in a thunderous free-kick from the edge of the area that beats David James in the England goal to draw Portugal level. England coach Sven-Goran Eriksson responds by bringing on Emile Heskey and Alan Smith, with Michael Owen and Wayne Rooney coming off.

2244: Luis Boa Morte comes on for Portugal captain Luis Figo.

Gareth Taylor scores his first goal for Wales, placing the ball past Rab Douglas to complete the goalkeeper's miserable evening.

Northern Ireland fans are still celebrating David Healy's goal when Norway break forward at speed. Maik Taylor fails to gather the cross across the face of goal and Keith Gillespie turns the ball into his own net.

David Healy connects with Keith Gillespie's cross to head home and end Northern Ireland's 13-game goal drought.

2112: Gareth Taylor heads the ball past Rab Douglas but the goal is ruled out, with Gary Speed penalised for pushing in the build-up.

2108: Shay Given makes an excellent save with his legs to deny Ronaldo the opener and then Ronaldinho sees his dipping shot hit the top of the crossbar.

Robbie Earnshaw grabs his hat-trick with a thunderous finish which Rab Douglas can only flap at.

2048: Robbie Keane misses a gilt-edged chance to give the Republic the lead, heading over from close range after an excellent cross by Clinton Morrison on the right.

A mistake by Maik Taylor in the Northern Ireland goal allows Morten Pedersen to mop up the spilled ball and rifle it into the roof of the net.

2015: Ronaldo explodes into space and flashes a shot inches wide of Shay Given's left-hand post.

2006: Brazil display their excellent possession skills, retaining the ball before Kleberson fires a shot over the crossbar from the edge of the area.

2002: The game between Northern Ireland and Norway finally gets under way 17 minutes late.

1958: Robbie Earnshaw twice goes close to extending Wales' lead.
