1730 GMT: Inter Milan will bid £40m for Tottenham winger Gareth Bale in the summer, with Real Madrid also interested in the 21-year-old.

1234 GMT: Sebastien Bassong insists he will not be leaving Tottenham this month after holding talks with manager Harry Redknapp over his future at the club. "I said to him [Redknapp] what I thought, how I saw things and he gave me answers," Bassong told French newspaper Le Figaro. "I will remain in Tottenham. I belong to Spurs."

1230 GMT: Manchester City midfielder Nigel de Jong says he is "proud" to be able to pull on a Netherlands shirt again after coach Bert van Marwijk ended his international exile and recalled him for the friendly with Austria in February. De Jong was dropped from the squad after a tackle he made on Hatem Ben Arfa during a Barclays Premier League match between City and Newcastle last October, which broke the Frenchman's leg.
