1145 BST: Cagliari president Massimo Cellino has threatened to scupper AC Milan's plans to appoint Massimiliano Allegri as their new coach, telling L'Unione Sarda newspaper: "I could keep him out for a year until the end of his contract... it is not to be ruled out."

0940 BST: Bayer Leverkusen have confirmed their interest in signing former star Michael Ballack after he was released by Chelsea. But director of sport Rudi Voller said: "A transfer would only be possible if the player accepted a pay cut."
