Liverpool winger Jermaine Pennant confirms Real Madrid made an offer for him.

"I know real Madrid made an offer for me. Real Madrid is a great club, so is Liverpool. I 'm not sure of the situation now; I'm flattered that a club as huge as Real has shown interest in me, so we'll have to see." (Guillem Balague website, 2132 GMT)

Didier Drogba is baffled he is not partnered with Nicolas Anelka in Chelsea attack.
