Brazil forward Robinho is set to repeat his desire to leave Real Madrid for Chelsea at a news conference he has called for Sunday (1100 BST), Spanish media have reported. (PA)

Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon says Robinho would be staying with the Spanish side, despite the player saying he is still in talks with English club Chelsea. 'He's going to stay here, I'm saying that, he's a good boy, just badly advised,' Calderon said. (Spanish daily ABC).

Manchester United face late competition from German giants Bayern Munich to sign Dimitar Berbatov from Tottenham.(Various)

The Bulgarian striker's move from White Hart Lane is likely to be confirmed as soon as Spurs have wrapped up the purchase of Russian striker Roman Pavlyuchenko. (Various)
