With January's transfer window closed, Premiership and Football League clubs cannot sign players until the summer.
In addition, loan deals are no longer permitted in the Football League or Conference after the deadline of 1700 GMT on 23 March, which has now passed.
However, in exceptional circumstances, such as if a club had no goalkeepers available, clubs might be allowed to sign a player.
These clubs would have to ask for special dispensation from the Premier League, Football League or Conference in order to ratify such a move.
The transfer window system does not apply to clubs below Conference National level.
