ANDY RITCHIE: 64%
Premier Division player of the year at the end of the 70s. Even though we were a part-time club! Pure genius, overweight, but a pure genius.
Alan Hay
He played for Morton late 70s early 80s and mention his name to anyone who remembers Scottish Football at this time and you will be guaranteed a smile! He was voted the Scottish Sports' Writers Player of the Year in 1979 (the first time it was awarded to a player from a provincial team) and was the top scorer in the Scottish Premier League that year. He was a genius who could score ridiculous goals from free-kicks, corner kicks, the half-way line etc, but was 6ft1ins, couldn't jump and almost never headed the ball, was slow and lazy and always looked disinterested until the ball arrived at his feet and then - the magic would happen!
Chris Anderson
ALLAN McGRAW: 31%
The First Gentleman of Scottish Football. Served the club for a total of 36 years as player, coach and manager, winning the old Scottish Second Division twice as player, and the Scottish First Division twice and Second Division once as manager. Anon
JIMMY COWAN: 5%
Possibly the greatest goalkeeper that ever played for Morton. Signed for Morton in May 1944, and went on to win 25 international caps. Anon.
