Neville hails Gunners
FOOTBALL FOCUS
Manchester United defender Gary Neville

Gary Neville has admitted Arsenal are worthy Premiership champions.

The Gunners won the title with four games to spare, and will complete the season unbeaten if they avoid defeat against Leicester on Saturday.

"Manchester United haven't lost the league, Arsenal have won it," the United defender told Football Focus.

"I don't care if Manchester United had had one of our best ever seasons, it still would have been impossible for us to win the league."

Neville added: "In this country we like to say 'look at Manchester United, look at Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle - they have failed'.

"But one team this year could go 38 matches unbeaten. If they did that next year they would win the league again.

"If Arsenal had lost the usual number of games teams do in a season, three to four, we would have still been involved in the championship race this weekend."
