• You may transfer as many players as you wish in and out of your team until 1230 BST on Saturday, 28 August 2004 for the first Game Month.

Regular transfers

• From 1230 BST on Saturday, 28 August 2004 you may make six transfers per Game Month throughout the course of the season. You can make transfers seven days a week and 24 hours a day (except 15 minutes before a match kicks-off and 30 minutes after kick-off).

• You cannot make transfers less than 15 minutes before a match kicks-off as this is when we check who is in your team. If a match is taking place while you make transfers, these simply take effect for the next set of matches.

Please note: In the event of two or more games kicking-off less than 110 minutes apart, transfers for these games must be made 15 minutes prior to the first game kicking off in order to take effect for all matches. This is a common occurrence on Sundays after Uefa Cup ties the previous week, so keep your finger on the pulse!

• In between each subsequent Game Month, unlimited transfers can be made from 12 midnight after the last game of the month until 15 minutes before the earliest kick-off at the start of the next Game Month.

To make transfers, click on the box next to the player(s) who you want to transfer out, then click on the 'Make Transfer' button. Then select from the dropdowns your replacement player(s), making sure your transfers are within the rules of the game, hit 'Save' and enter your password.

Your team must always end up with 11 players in the correct formation, with no more than two players from any one Premiership club.

• Players changing clubs within the Premiership will also change clubs on the player list. However, this will not invalidate your own team if you already have two players from the new club.

• For example, if one of your players joins Chelsea during the season and you already have two team members from Chelsea, your team will not be affected. However, the new club WILL be taken into account when making any transfers into your team.

Points are reset at the end of each Game Month.
