Mangotsfield Utd 1-2 Forest Green

FA Cup

Forest Green reached the first round of the FA Cup for the second season running with victory over Gloucestershire rivals Mangotsfield.

Rovers led after seven minutes when David Brown converted a penalty for a foul on Danny Powell.

Steve Davies made the game safe late on before a James Pilling consolation.

Rovers boss Dave Hockaday told BBC Gloucestershire: "We should have kept a clean sheet and won more comfortably. We made hard work of it."
