Ged Dalton has hailed as "unbelievable" his 89th-minute strike that sent non-league Blyth Spartans into an FA Cup third round tie with Blackburn Rovers.
The 18-year-old stepped off the bench as Spartans beat League Two Bournemouth 1-0 at Croft Park in Tuesday's replay.
"I'm absolutely ecstatic, it's absolutely unbelievable," he told BBC Radio Newcastle.
"I was on a bit of a downer after being let go (by Carlisle) but you come here and you just kick on from there."
He added: "As soon as I scored I was just praying for the final whistle to go, I asked the referee how long was left, he said four minutes and it was the longest four minutes of my life."
Spartans beat Shrewsbury 3-1 in the first round in November.
