Tranmere 1-2 Peterborough (aet)

Craig Mackail-Smith scored an extra-time winner to seal a dramatic FA Cup comeback win for Peterborough.

Tranmere took the lead two minutes into the second half when Anthony Kay headed in Andy Taylor's corner.

The visitors hit the woodwork three times before Aaron Mclean equalised in the fourth minute of added time, stabbing home Charlie Lee's pass.

And Mackail-Smith earned Posh an FA Cup third-round tie at West Brom by diverting in a 30-yard Lee shot.


Tranmere: Coyne, Antwi , Chorley, Goodison, Taylor, Moore (Gornell 93), Kay, Jennings, Edds (Shuker 62), Sonko (Cresswell 88), Savage.
