Millwall 3-0 Aldershot

Millwall cruised into the third round of the FA Cup with an easy win over Aldershot at The Den.

The Lions broke the deadlock after half an hour when Gary Alexander headed home Dave Martin's cross from the left.

A late clearance from Ricky Newman prevented Marc Laird adding a second but Alexander made it 2-0 when he headed in Paul Robinson's delivery.

Substitute Ashley Grimes completed the scoring two minutes from time when he rose to head in Chris Hackett's cross.


Millwall: Forde, Hackett, Robinson, Craig, Frampton, Grabban (Dunne 61), Bolder, Laird (Abdou 72), Martin, Harris (Grimes 80), Alexander.
Subs Not Used: Edwards, Barron, Fuseini, Moore.
