Fleetwood Town 2-3 Hartlepool

Michael Mackay scored twice as Hartlepool held off Fleetwood to reach the third round of the FA Cup.

The Blue Square North side took the lead when Andy Bell scored from Jamie Milligan's free-kick but Mackay met a Jamie McCunnie cross to equalise.

Mackay lobbed Pools in front in the first 11 seconds of the second half and a minute later Joel Porter made it 3-1 when he met Anthony Sweeney's volley.

Adam Warlow ran clear to reply late on for Town but Pools held on for victory.
