Scunthorpe 4-0 Alfreton Town

Scunthorpe coasted into the third round of the FA Cup with a convincing victory over 10-man non-league side Alfreton.

Paul Hayes went off with a cheekbone injury but replacement Ben May headed the home side in front when Tommy Evans failed to hold Grant McCann's shot.

Paul Clayton was red-carded for an off-the-ball offence, but it was not until the 62nd minute that Gary Hooper made it two with his 12th of the season.

Hooper got a second from an acute angle and Sam Togwell notched a late fourth.
