Blyth Spartans 3-1 Shrewsbury

Shaun Reay grabbed a first-half double as Blyth Spartans pulled off the opening shock of FA Cup first round weekend against League Two Shrewsbury.

Blue Square North side Spartans took the lead after 31 seconds when Reay curled the ball home from 12 yards after being sent clear by Robbie Dale.

Reay doubled the lead with a shot from inside the penalty area.

Andy Leeson hooked in the home side's third before Grant Holt's header made it 3-1 late on.
