Cash-strapped Luton earned a January pay-day against Premier League Liverpool after seeing off Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup second round.
The hosts went close in the 19th minute when Matt Spring's diving header was cleared off the line by Kelvin Wilson.
The vital breakthrough came after 54 minutes when Calvin Andrew glanced home Spring's cross.
Forest went close when Chris Cohen's shot was cleared off the line but they were otherwise disappointing.
