Live - FA Cup fifth round
Saturday, 16 February 2008

Rate players
The FA Cup third round always produces its share of heroes and villains - and 2007 proved to be no exception.

Using BBC's Sport's new Player Rater you gave marks out of 10 for every game featuring a Premiership club.

Bolton midfielder Andranik Teymourian was your player of the round with an average of 9.62 for his performance in Wanderers' win over Doncaster.

Charlton's Amdy Faye got the lowest mark, scoring just 3.13 as his side lost to Nottingham Forest.

And you highlighted a hero and villain in every game featuring a Premiership club, as well as the live BBC game between Tamworth and Norwich. Here is the full list, from hero to zero:

Birmingham v Newcastle: Hero - Dyer; Villain - Jaidi
Chelsea v Macclesfield: Hero - Lampard; Villain - Lee
Cardiff v Spurs: Hero - Chopra; Villain - Lee
Doncaster v Bolton: Hero - Teymourian; Villain - Wilson
Everton v Blackburn: Hero - Pedersen; Villain - Howard
Hull v Middlesbrough: Hero - Myhill; Villain - Boateng
Liverpool v Arsenal: Hero - Rosicky; Villain - Dudek
Forest v Charlton: Hero - Tyson; Villain - Faye
Man Utd v Aston Villa: Hero - Larsson; Villain - Angel
Portsmouth v Wigan: Hero - Cole; Villain - Kilbane
Sheff Utd v Swansea: Hero - Butler; Villain - Gerrard
Sheff Wed v Man City: Hero - Maclean; Villain - Trabelsi
Tamworth v Norwich: Hero - Dublin; Villain - Veiga
Watford v Stockport: Hero - Mackay; Villain - Spencer
West Ham v Brighton: Hero - Tevez; Villain - Frazer

Eight Addicks players scored less than four for their displays in their 2-0 defeat by the League One side - while you gave every Forest player at least seven.

The other big shock of the third round saw Swansea City beat Sheffield United - and the Swans' two-goal hero Thomas Butler was rewarded with a score of 9.16.

The Blades' poor performance was reflected in their scores, which saw Nick Montgomery earn their highest rating with a paltry 4.62.

Unsurprisingly, some of the weekend's other star performers picked up top marks.

You awarded Chelsea's hat-trick hero Frank Lampard 8.98 for his treble in the Blues' 6-1 win over Macclesfield - and Manchester United's Henrik Larsson was given a score of 8.62 for his impressive debut in his side's win over Aston Villa.

Arsenal forward Thomas Rosicky scored 8.68 for his part in the Gunners' 3-1 win over holders Liverpool - but you had little sympathy for Reds keeper Jerzy Dudek who managed just 4.02.

After a successful debut during the World Cup, Player Rater is now available for all 20 Premiership clubs, as well as selected FA Cup games.

The process is simple. You submit your marks out of 10 for players of either side at any stage during the game, or after the final whistle has blown.

The aggregated scores, based on all submitted entries, are displayed in our live console and updated as more scores come in.
