John Grant's late header earned Aldershot a replay in their FA Cup second round clash with Basingstoke.
The visitors, who have just one win from 15 games in the Conference South, went ahead when Joe Bruce netted from close range in first-half injury time.
Aldershot went close when Ryan Scott saw his header saved by Stuart Searle then hit the post with the rebound.
Searle was at his best again to deny Rhys Day but he was finally beaten when Grant met Darren Barnard's cross.
