Winger Wayne Corden's 76th-minute equaliser earned Leyton Orient a replay against League Two strugglers Torquay.
Corden cut in from the left and latched on to a pass by Shayne Tudor to fire past Nathan Abbey from 15 yards.
Corden's goal fired Orient and sub Paul Connor went close to the winner three times in the last ten minutes.
Torquay - managed for the first time by Lubos Kubik - had taken the lead with a Jamie Ward penalty after Brian Saah was harshly ruled to have fouled Ward.
