Michael Twiss' goal proved decisive as Morecambe edged out Conference rivals Kidderminster in this FA Cup clash.
Wayne Curtis put them ahead with a penalty just before the break after keeper Scott Bevan was adjudged to have brought down Garry Thompson.
Harriers were denied a penalty at the other end after Andy White went down before Twiss doubled the lead at the far post from Thompson's cross.
Gavin Hurren pulled one back late on but it was not enough for the visitors.
