Bolton cruised past Championship side Watford despite the absence of several key players to seal a place in the FA Cup fourth round.
Jared Borgetti opened the scoring from 12 yards after Malky Mackay failed to clear Ricardo Gardner's cross.
Darius Henderson shot wide for Watford from six yards before Stelios Giannakopoulos scored from 12 yards after a cutback from Ricardo Vaz Te.
The final goal came from Vaz Te, who drilled the ball home from 25 yards.
Hidetoshi Nakata and Giannakopoulos threatened for Bolton from the very start, forcing Gavin Mahon into a frantic clearance, before Borgetti opened the scoring.
Ben Foster then saved from Borgetti after the Mexico international made poor contact with Burton O'Brien's cross from the right.
Gardner shot over from 18 yards and Giannakopoulos had the ball in the net shortly before he finally doubled the lead, but on the first occasion he was adjudged to have been offside.
Just before the break, Watford's leading scored Marlon King shot wide from 15 yards after being put through by Toumani Diagouraga.
Ian Walker failed to hold a shot from King early in the second half and Gardner scrambled the ball clear.
Jay-Jay Okocha drilled a shot straight at Foster from 18 yards shortly after Vaz Te had scored the third.
Clarke Carlisle almost scored a consolation for the Hornets but his 25-yard strike went just over the crossbar.
