Conference North side Northwich earned a lucrative FA Cup third round trip to Premiership Sunderland after beating Woking 2-1 at the Victoria Stadium.
Elliott scored Northwich's first goal
Stuart Elliott's 20-yard volley had put Northwich in front after 13 minutes.
Shwan Jalal saved a Paul Brayson penalty to keep his side in the game and in first-half stoppage time Steve Ferguson equalised with a neat finish.
But Brayson made amends for his penalty miss, firing home from 20 yards on the hour mark to send Northwich through.
Former Newcastle trainee Brayson has now scored 11 goals in the FA Cup this season.
Founded in 1874 Northwich went into administration last season and were relegated to the Conference North, two rungs below the Football League.
The non-league side will meet Sunderland on Sunday 8 January.
