Inglethorpe keeps his dream alive
INGLETHORPE'S VIEW
Exeter boss Alex Inglethorpe
Exeter boss Alex Inglethorpe is confident his side can spring an unlikely FA Cup upset after holding Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Asked if the non-leaguers could win the replay, the Exeter boss replied: "Why not?

"You have to go into games believing you can win, otherwise there's no point turning up.

"The players can go away tonight feeling incredibly proud of their performance," added Inglethorpe.

Exeter's plucky performance will earn them another big pay day, important for a club that was near bankruptcy not so long ago.

Inglethorpe added: "It's a fantastic story for a club that nearly out of business a few years ago."

And managing director Ian Huxham confirmed the club's £600,000 debt had almost entirely been wiped out with the money received from playing at Old Trafford.

And Huxham said: " "This was the day we paid most of our debt, the replay will be the day whenwe repay the loyalty of the fans who have stood by us.

"We realise there will be plenty of disappointed people but there is not much we can do about that.

"What we can do is not charge any more than we would normally."
