Blackpool 1-0 Port Vale
Scott Taylor's 10th goal of the season was enough to send Blackpool into the third round of the FA Cup as they claimed a 1-0 win against Port Vale.

Taylor's speculative second half 20-yard strike clipped the ankle of a Vale defender and curled into the corner.

Vale had started brightly with Billy Paynter clipping the outside of the post and then spurning a penalty.

Vale keeper Jonny Brain was also forced to make further saves from Peter Clarke and another Taylor chance late on.
