Dale boss yearns for big tie
Rochdale players celebrate their win over Coventry
Rochdale manager Paul Simpson is desperate to land a Premiership giant in the fifth round after knocking out Coventry.
Dale, who beat Preston in round three, moved through to the last 16 after claiming another First Division scalp. Goals from Paul Connor and Gareth Griffiths accounted for a Coventry side currently occupying a play-off spot in Division One.
He said: "We are in the next round and I want a massive one. "I want a match big enough to get live on television and radio and make as much money out of it as possible, because that's the way we've got to think about it at this football club." Simpson was delighted with the win over Coventry and added: "I really feel we thoroughly deserved it. "It is fantastic and when you get days like this you milk it for everything you possibly can. "We were playing a very good First Division club and we earned it because we did things right."
He said: "I knew it was going to be a tough game. "We've been playing very poorly recently and this has been on the cards. "We've got to start producing because there are some big decisions to be made in the summer."
