Brentford overcame Andrew Frampton's sending off to secure a superb FA Cup win away at York. Stephen Hunt got the winner after Frampton was dismissed on 33 minutes. Michael Dobson's cross was flicked on by Kevin O'Connor and Hunt shrugged off City centre-back Gary Hobson before slotting home with three minutes to go. Visiting goalkeeper Paul Smith had made three breathtaking saves to deny Peter Duffield twice and Lee Nogan moments earlier. Brentford went ahead when Mark McCammon slotted home from eight yards after 35 minutes. But York levelled when Lee Bullock looped home a header in off the post just after the hour.
