Crawley 1-2 Dag & Red
A late goal from Mark Janney earned Dagenham a victory away to 10-man Crawley in the second-round of the FA Cup. A club record crowd of 4,560 saw the Dr Martens League side go ahead after just two minutes when striker Nick McDonnell capitalised on a poor back-pass from Paul Terry and slotted home. The Conference club levelled after 26 minutes when Junior McDougald netted his ninth goal in nine games from close range following a corner. The Sussex team were reduced to 10 men when defender Ellis Hooper was dismissed for his second bookable offence in the second half. The underdogs looked to have earned a replay until Janney's deflected shot two minutes from time trickled over the line.
