Morecambe 3-2 Chester

Adriano Rigoglioso clinched victory for Morecambe in a dramatic all-Conference FA Cup clash against Chester.

Chester's Ryan Sugden was sent off on half-time for an off-the-ball incident, and Rigoglioso then fired home a left-foot effort in the 57th minute.

Chester took the lead after 25 minutes through Phil Bolland before defender Jim Bentley equalised moments later with a volley.

Daryl Clare then put Chester ahead again with a header just before the break, but Sugden's sending off changed the course of the match.

Morecambe took full advantage, with Bentley claiming a second goal and Rigoglioso wrapping up the win after 57 minutes.

Morecambe: Mawson, McKearney, Bentley, Swan, Colkin, Rigoglioso, Stringfellow, Drummond, Elam, Thompson, Carlton. Subs: Murphy, Talbot, Ubershar, Black, Curtis.

Chester: Wayne Brown, Brady, Guyett, Hatswell, Bolland, McIntyre, Carey, Carden, Davies, Sugden, Clare. Subs: Kelly, Twiss, Beesley, Michael Brown, Ruffer.

Referee: A Marriner (Birmingham)
