Goals from Swindon's Bobby Howe and Paul Edwards ended non-league Hereford's FA Cup run, after it looked as if a shock was on the cards.

Gavin Williams and Ian Wright were both on target to give the Conference side a shock 2-1 half-time lead.

But winger Edwards struck his first goal for Swindon on 53 minutes to restore parity.

Then Howe completed the comeback on 76 minutes, firing home from eight yards after Eric Sabin's shot had been blocked.

Danny Invincible gave Roy Evans' side the lead after 11 minutes with his sixth goal of the season after being put through by Neil Ruddock.

But Williams struck two minutes later with a spectacular 30-yard drive and Wright, the goalscoring hero against Wrexham in the first round, headed home a Williams corner to make it 2-1.

Hereford: Baker, Clarke, Tony James, Wright, Capaldi, Quiggin, Snape, Goodwin, Parry, Elmes, Gavin Williams. Subs: Kevan, Evans, Mark Williams, Davidson, Piearce.
