Plymouth 1-1 Bristol Rovers
E-mail your reaction to Football Talk Third Division rivals Plymouth and Bristol Rovers will need a replay following their FA Cup draw at Home Park. Plymouth went ahead after 27 minutes when skipper Paul Wotton hammered in a 30-yard free-kick. Rovers rallied after the break when substitute Mark Walters caused plenty of problems down the left. The Pirates scored a deserved equaliser on the hour when Nathan Ellington's pass found Lewis Hogg in space. He squared the ball to veteran Walters who tucked away his chance from close range. Rovers goalkeeper Scott Howie made a superb save to deny Argyle's French midfielder David Friio after 87 minutes. Then Rovers substitute Trevor Challis was dismissed for a second bookable offence in the fourth minute of injury time.
Plymouth: Larrieu, Worrell, Coughlan, Wotton, McGlinchey, Phillips, Friio, Bent, Hodges, Evans, Stonebridge. Subs: McCormick, Adams, Wills, Beswetherick, Sturrock. Bristol Rovers: Howie, Trought, Plummer, Foran, Thomson, Hogg, Mauge, Astafjevs, Wilson, Cameron, Ellington. Subs: Clarke, Gall, Walters, Challis, Ommel. Referee: R Beeby (Northampton).
