Heskey broke the deadlock
Liverpool finally ended Wycombe's amazing FA Cup run.

It took 74 minutes for Liverpool to finally break the deadlock, with a goal from Emile Heskey, closely followed by a Robbie Fowler strike. A consolation Wycombe goal in the dying minutes set up a nail-biting finish.

    Liverpool secured another fine win on the back of a devastating opening spell, bursting into a 2-0 lead inside 13 minutes.

    Nick Barmby silenced the Elland Road faithful
    Liverpool's knock-out specialist Nick Barmby delivered a late FA Cup sucker punch to leave Leeds reeling at Elland Road.

    Fellow substitute Emile Heskey finished Leeds off with a stunning injury time strike to make Liverpool's passage to the next round secure.

    In an unconvincing performance, two goals from Emile Heskey helped Liverpool to the fourth round.
