Wycombe's Steve Brown has been handed a four-game ban for taking his shirt off to celebrate his team's progress into the FA Cup semi-final.

But he will be able to make the biggest game in the Wanderers' history - the match against Liverpool on 8 April.

Brown tore off his shirt when Roy Essandoh scored the winning goal in their shock FA Cup win over Leicester.

Referee Steve Bennett showed a second yellow card to Brown and he was dismissed from the field.

Brown has since claimed he was paying tribute to his son when he tore off his shirt.

He automatically picked up a one-match ban on Saturday but because he had already been sent off this season that has been extended to two.

Brown's first yellow card at Leicester took him up to 10 cautions, which means a further two-match ban.

His suspension begins on 17 March against Oldham.

In addition to the Oldham match, he has been ruled out of the games against Rotherham, Walsall and Millwall.
