British trio set for testing Europa League ties

Liverpool, Manchester City and Rangers will face testing ties in the last 16 of the Europa League.

The Reds beat Sparta Prague to set up an encounter against Portuguese side Braga, who beat Lech Poznan.

City have to play Ukrainian side Dynamo Kiev who thumped Besiktas 8-1 on aggregate, with ex-Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko among their scorers.

Rangers's opponents will be Dutch league leaders PSV Eindhoven, who beat French side Lille 3-1.

There are no Italian clubs left in the Europa League after Napoli were knocked out 2-1 by Villarreal, who will face German side Bayer Leverkusen.

Ajax and Benifica are some of the other notable names in the last 16 and they face Spartak Moscow and Paris St Germain respectively.
