Bayern Munich will seal their berth in the knockout stages with victory at Cluj in two weeks' time, after they maintained their 100% record with a 3-2 win against the Romanian side at the Allianz Arena.

A shock was on the cards when Cadu opened the scoring for Cluj. But the visitors imploded as Cadu and Cristian Panin both scored own goals to gift the German side the lead before Mario Gomez added the third.

Cluj pulled one back through Culio with four minutes remaining, but Bayern held on.

Three teams are now on three points after Basle recorded the shock of the round with a 3-1 victory at Roma.

Alexander Frei gave the Swiss club the lead from 12 yards before Marco Boriello equalised.

Samuel Inkoom's angled drive put Basle back in front before Cabral made certain of victory deep into stoppage time.

GROUP F

In the early kick-off in Russia, Chelsea's Yuri Zhirkov scored a spectacular opener in his side's 2-0 win over Spartak Moscow .

Zhirkov smacked in a brilliant volley midway though the first half before striker Nicolas Anelka added a second shortly before half-time.

Marseille kept their Champions League hopes alive thanks to a 1-0 win over Zilina.

Souleymane Diawara's second-half header gave the French side their first win of the campaign.

GROUP G

Two goals in two minutes from Cristiano Ronaldo and Mesut Ozil earned Real Madrid to a 2-0 victory over AC Milan in the titanic clash at the Bernabeu.

It is now three wins from three for Jose Mourinho's side.

There were three goals and three red cards at the Amsterdam Arena, where Ajax kept the pressure up on second-placed AC Milan with a 2-1 win over Auxerre.

Demy de Zeuuw blasted the Dutch side ahead from 20 yards before Uruguay's Luis Suarez drilled in a second.

Ajax's Andre Ooijer was then shown a straight red and Valter Birsa scored from the subsequent free-kick.

Dennis Oliech was next to be sent off after he was shown a second yellow for punching the ball into the net before Auxerre team-mate Jean-Pascal Mignot was shown two yellows in quick succession for dissent from the touchline.

GROUP H

Goals from Lima and Matheus gave Braga a 2-0 win and their first-ever Champions League points at the expense of Partizan Belgrade, who remain rooted to the bottom of the table.

Lima opened the scoring with a brilliant 30-yard free-kick before Matheus tapped in the second late on.

It looks like its Arsenal's group for the taking after they thumped nearest rivals Shakhtar Donetsk 5-1 to maintain their 100% record.
