Mourinho, who has been linked with a switch to Real Madrid, has openly acknowledged he is unhappy in Italian football but afterwards he insisted he has not made up his mind about next season.
"At this point, I am not thinking of myself, my only thoughts are Inter and my players," he told the club's television channel.
"After the final in Madrid, there will be time for me to be a little bit selfish for one, two or three days and I will think what makes me happier from a professional standpoint.
"But right now, I can say with 100% certainty that it's not true that I have one foot and a half at Real or that I am already the Real coach. In fact, I am very far away from being Real coach."
But Mourinho, who is under contract with Inter until June 2012, admitted he has not felt comfortable in Serie A.
"Several times this season, I have thought that this was not my natural habitat," he said. "That this was not the country to work in and be happy."
"But the best team has won the title. The tournament is made up of so many games and always the team that deserves it, wins. Although maybe it could have been easier."
And Mourinho is now determined to bring the Champions League trophy back to Milan next weekend.
"A historic week for Inter begins," he added. The season is over and to have won the scudetto and the Coppa Italia is always fantastic, even Bayern Munich has done that. But only one team can win the Champions League.
"Right now I don't have the energy to go and watch a Bayern DVD but from tomorrow onwards it will be back to work."
Inter's achievement of winning five scudettos in a row equals the record set by Juventus in the 1930s but one of Inter's championships could yet be struck off.
They received the 2006 title in a courtroom after original winners Juventus were demoted in a match-fixing scandal.
New evidence has emerged in the criminal trial linked to the match-fixing affair which Juve claim shows for the first time that Inter were implicated in the scandal and so the 2006 title should be stripped from them as well. Inter deny wrongdoing.
Sampdoria were also celebrating after a 1-0 home win over Napoli secured the fourth and final Champions League qualifying spot.
