Rioch set to leave Aalborg post

Rioch has previously said he would like to manage in England again

AaB Aalborg coach Bruce Rioch says the Champions League tie against Manchester United on 10 December will be his last in charge of the Danish outfit.

The former Arsenal and Bolton manager's contract expires at that time and he says he will not renew his deal.

AaB sporting director Lynge Jakobsen did not say why Rioch was leaving.

And he admitted the club had yet to find a suitable replacement, adding that he and the board were looking for "a long-term solution coach-wise".

Last week, Aalborg lost 3-0 at home to Man Utd in its second appearance in the Champions League, having earned a surprise draw against Celtic on match day one.

Rioch joined Aalborg on a six-month deal in June.
