Chelsea negotiate Fenerbahce test
It all seemed to be going to plan for Chelsea in the quarter-final, first leg after Fenerbahce's Deivid diverted Florent Malouda's cross into his own net.
However, Colin Kazim-Richards, born in Leytonstone and once of Bury, Brighton and Sheffield United, equalised before Deivid smashed home a 30-yard winner.
The Turkish side were confident at Stamford Bridge but conceded an early Michael Ballack goal.
Fenerbahce, managed by Brazil legend Zico, went close before Frank Lampard scored the decisive second for Chelsea.
