Chelsea see off Olympiakos threat
Chelsea faced Olympiakos for their round of 16 tie and travelled to Athens with the competition's meanest defence having kept four straight clean sheets.
But, with John Terry and Frank Lampard on the bench, the Blues were not at their best and were held to a goalless draw.
In the return leg the increasingly influential Michael Ballack headed home a Lampard cross after six minutes.
Lampard struck from close range and Salomon Kalou slotted home a third early in the second half to seal a 3-0 aggregate win and a place in the last eight.
