2159: I'm off then. Don't forget the draws tomorrow. Champions League at 1200 GMT, Uefa Cup to follow at 1300 GMT. Follow all the draw drama right here.
2156: PLAYER OF THE DAY The clearest winner for quite some time - and completely deserved. A heroic performance from Rangers keeper Allan McGregor sees him out on his own on a mind-blowing 9.44. Bolton defender Gary Cahill is the highest-rating player from the other match on 7.11.
2152: FULL-TIME Sporting 1-0 Bolton (agg 2-1) Sporting spend the last couple of minutes keeping possession by the corner flag. They go through to the quarter-finals. Bolton can concentrate fully on their battle for Premier League survival.
2150 A clash of heads leaves Rodrigo Tiui flat out but he gets back to his feet eventually - a couple of minutes remaining.
2145: Bolton have three minutes left to find the goal that would take this into extra time.
2143: GOAL Sporting 1-0 Bolton (agg 2-1) Bruno Pereirinha has got all the time and space in the world as he collects the pass on the right-hand side of the penalty box. He cuts back and shoots high into the far corner.
2138: Bolton keeper Ali Al-Habsi keeps his side in it, blocking Liedson's fierce shot. Abdoulaye Meite deserves a nod of approval for closing down quickly.
2135: "Re 2129: Just for the record... 2-1 to the Rangers! You beauty!!! " Anon via text on 81111
2134: Here comes Nathan Woolfe to make his Bolton debut in Lisbon, the 19-year-old replacing Heidar Helguson.
2131: Guest contributor Dan Warren provides you with the Player Rater chat for that Rangers game... Quite rightly, for a man who dealt with more shots than a barman dealing with a hen party on "house doubles half price" night, Rangers keeper Allan McGregor is lording it. He can boast to his friends that he has notched 9.22, miles ahead of second-placed Diego who is on 7.71. That can all change, mind you. That can all change.
2129: Just for the record, Bremen finished with 35 shots to Rangers' four and 18 corners to two from Rangers. Incredible stats. But meaningless if you're a Rangers fan.
2127: Bolton need a goal in Lisbon, but they don't look like they're going to get it. It's a bit of a limp match at the Estadio Jose Alvalade.
2126: "Great result for the Gers! We defended like mad tonight. We may not have the best attack but with that defence we can go far. It reminds me of the Greeks at Euro 2004. Dare we dream ?" DocBindy on 606
2120: FULL-TIME Werder Bremen 1-0 Rangers (agg 1-2) Backs to the wall all the way for Rangers but they're through to the last eight. Diego's moment of magic isn't enough, Rangers keeper Allan McGregor the man of the match by a country mile.
2118: Two minutes of added time to be played at the Weser Stadium...
2118: With a couple of minutes left, Rangers attack on the break but they're not interested in scoring, Lee McCulloch cuts back and just keeps possession on the touchline.
2112: Unbelievable. Bremen should be level. Markus Rosenberg heads into the path of Boubacar Sanogo but Allan McGregor pushes his shot from a few yards out onto the bar.
2108: Bremen midfielder Diego spins away from his marker but no wonder goal this time as he blasts the shot wide.
2108: Rangers only need to hold out for another 10 minutes... only 10 minutes.
2106: Rangers boss Walter Smith makes his second change with Lee McCulloch on for Nacho Novo. A straight switch up front. For Bremen, striker Martin Harnik replaces defender Patrick Owomoyela as the German side go for broke.
2103: Off we go again in Lisbon.
2059: Bremen appear to have taken their foot of the gas since scoring. One more goal from them and it's extra time and possibly penalties. I'm not sure I can take it after last night.
2056: Now look, while you and I are sat around idly watching/reading the football, Alan Shearer and Adrian Chiles are cycling a ludicrously long way in aid of Sport Relief. Nabil Hassan, BBC Sport's very own Man with a Mullet, is avidly tracking their progress while persuading us to put our hands in our pockets in the nicest possible way. Go and give money. Now. I don't want to have to mention it again. Thanks!
2052: I wouldn't bet against Rangers scoring. Chazy77 over on 606 (see 1931) was bang on. The Bremen defence is a tad shambolic - but Rangers have hardly had a chance to venture out of their half.
2048: Rangers go close to a quick equaliser but Kirk Broadfoot can't quite connect with a low cross.
2047: HALF-TIME Sporting 0-0 Bolton (agg 1-1) Bolton need to show a bit more ambition if they are to avoid going out on away goals.
2046: GOAL Werder Bremen 1-0 Rangers (agg 1-2) It was always going to need something special to beat Allan McGregor and Diego's goal is an absolute peach. He picks up a headed clearance on the edge of the box, flicks it away from the defender and sends a wonderful strike into the corner. Brilliant.
2043: It's very much as you were at the Weser Stadium as the Bremen attack take it in turns to test Allan McGregor. Hugo Almeida resorts to trying to head the ball out of his hands but the ref's not having any of that.
2041: "If Rangers go through tonight my flatmate buys me a large pizza for dinner. Keep it up boys, I'm starving!" Philosophical_weegie on 606
2038: Bremen stroke the ball around the edge of the penalty area until Daniel Jensen unleashes a fizzing shot... but you know the rest. Allan McGregor tips it over.
2035: The second half is under way at the Weser Stadium. Here's a good fact: in the famous legend, the Pied Piper lured the rats into the River Weser from Hamlin, which is south east of Bremen. Alright... maybe not a good fact. A fact though.
2034: "Have the BBC staff never watched a Scottish team play before? This is what we do... concede 100 corners/chances then win 1-0 (France vs Scotland)." Stardog on 606
2031: Bruno Pereirinha's cross is flicked on by Simon Vukcevic to Marat Izmailov at the far post but he screws his volley wide from close range. Bolton survive. Half an hour gone.
2029: Your BBC Radio 5 Live team are a bit upset with their commentary position at the Estadio Jose Alvalade. Bunch of luvvies eh? I'm willing to bet they've got a better view than I have in Shepherds Bush.
2026: "Allan McGregor has been sensational. If we win the Uefa Cup then we should erect a statue of him outside Ibrox." Super_Ally_Super_Ally! on 606
2020: Justice is in full effect over on Player Rater. Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor is miles clear with a whopping 8.44. Werder Bremen one-name five-letter twins Naldo and Diego have another thing in common. They're in joint second on 7.14.
2020: "I don't have a clue how we survived but we did. But now Bremen are gonna be the most tired team by far and very demoralised. So final score prediction from me will be 2-1 to Bremen and the Gers go through !" DocBindy on 606
2019: According to the stats, Rangers had 44% of the possession in that first half. That cannot be right. They also had three shots to Bremen's 16. Bremen had 9 corners, Rangers had none. But as I say, it's the scoreline that's all-important. Obviously.
2016: HALF-TIME Werder Bremen 0-0 Rangers (agg 0-2) Rangers survive an extremely testing first-half - but they'll be loving that scoreline.
2015: Bolton survive a scare as Abdoulaye Meite loses possession in defence, allowing Simon Vukcevic a shot but he drags it wide.
2014: Charlie Adam clips Diego's heels and picks up a yellow card - meaning he'll miss the first leg if Rangers go through.
2010: Rangers midfielder Charlie Adam - so impressive in the first leg - works himself into a good position on the edge of the box but thwacks a shot straight at Nacho Novo, leaving his team-mate pole-axed.
2009: Bolton striker Ricardo Vaz Te - playing in his home town - shoots into the side netting from 10 yards.
2007: Rangers are down to 10 men for the moment as Christian Dailly receives treatment to a cut above his eye. He's OK though.
2003: Simon Vukcevic - who scored in the first leg - goes close for Sporting with a free-kick which Bolton keeper Ali Al-Habsi does well to push behind for a corner.
2002: The game in Lisbon is under way.
1959: I can hardly believe my eyes. Rangers have a shot. Nacho Novo escapes down the right-hand channel. His well-struck effort goes straight at Tim Wiese but the keeper just spoons it into the air. He's lucky to see the ball falls to a Bremen defender.
1957: "Rangers are showing absolutely no ambition, and by the looks of it they won't be keeping a clean sheet!" Jamie, Edinburgh, via text on 81111 Hard to be ambitious without the ball though.
1955: "Rangers are being torn apart to put it bluntly." Stevie G is my Homeboy on 606
1945: Rangers lose the ball in midfield, giving Markus Rosenberg the chance to unleash a fierce shot but keeper Allan McGregor is right behind it.
1943: TEAM NEWS Sporting v Bolton Bolton defender Gary Cahill is captain of the side for the first time as boss Gary Megson makes six changes to the side which drew 1-1 in the first leg. Ricardo Vaz Te and Heidar Helguson start in attack for a side missing its regulars but with instructions to attack. Sporting have leading goalscorer Liedson back in their line-up, with the Brazilian having recovered from a thigh injury.
1940: Rangers have hardly had a touch of the ball in the first 10 minutes. Aaron Hunt clips a clever ball to the far post but Per Mertesacker heads over.
1938: Here's Bolton boss Gary Megson: "We're in the bottom three of the Premier League and staying up is the priority. That's the reason why there are not as many regulars here. There's not a lot of point sitting back. What we are going to do is try to score."
1934: Rangers must weather the storm here. Sebastian Boenisch goes on a Steven Gerrard-like run through midfield but, fortunately for the visitors, he blazes his shot over.
1932: Oh my goodness. What a chance. Markus Rosenberg stabs wide from a couple of yards after a knockdown. Let-off for Rangers.
1931: "Re 1920: Wiese wasn't at fault for any of the six goals conceded against Stuttgart. Bremen's defence was appalling and he is actually a very good goalkeeper." Chazy77 on 606
1923: TEAM NEWS Werder Bremen v Rangers Rangers are without injured striker Daniel Cousin so Nacho Novo plays up front, with Lee McCulloch on the bench. Sasa Papac gets the nod at left-back ahead of Steven Whittaker. Werder Bremen midfielder Diego starts despite a recent dressing room bust-up with striker Aaron Hunt. Hunt is one of three strikers in the line-up.
1920: Tim Wiese's week didn't get any better after his horrow show at Ibrox, by the way. His side were on the end of a 6-3 hammering at the hands of Stuttgart 48 hours later. Rangers, meanwhile, are on a 20-game unbeaten run.
1917: "I'm a concerned Rangers man tonight. I think we will need to score at least one." Anon via text on 81111
1915: Now then, Bolton boss Gary Megson has left 12 first-team players at home as he concentrates on the league - but he has warned Sporting: "We're not the Dog and Duck". I would like to point out that I had to pull out of Bolton's squad due to work commitments.
1912: Rangers kick off at 1930 tonight, with the Bolton game getting under way half an hour later. Rangers are 2-0 up thanks to some calamity keeping from Bremen keeper Tim Wiese in the first leg. I'm looking forward to seeing him in action again.
1900: Two down then, two remain. After the penalty drama which saw Everton and Spurs go out last night, can Bolton and Rangers keep British hopes alive in the Uefa Cup? Can they?
