Less prolific than Benzema in front of goal, Ben Arfa is a player who France Football journalist Xavier Rivoire says "is a winger rather than a centre forward - and can create things out of nothing".
"His greatest asset is his dribbling ability. His crossing is also good. He has all the trickery of Cristiano Ronaldo. He is a little pest when he has the ball at his feet. He is highly skilled, technically, and can be spectacular to watch."
