Barca back on top of Primera Liga
Jose Antonio Reyes celebrates his winner in Mallorca
Reyes struck brilliantly for Real
Barcelona and Real Madrid both won on Sunday to move level on points with Sevilla at the top of the Primera Liga.

Jose Antonio Reyes scored a superb free-kick as Real won 1-0 in Mallorca, while Barca defeated rock-bottom Gimnastic 3-0 at Camp Nou.

Javier Saviola opened the scoring after 18 minutes, before second-half goals from Ludovic Giuly and Andres Iniesta.

Barca are top, Real second and Sevilla, who were held to a goalless draw by Villarreal, third - all on 38 points.

Valencia are fourth in the table just two points off the leading three after a 1-0 victory at Real Sociedad - with David Villa scoring the only goal.

Real travelled to Mallorca without several first-team regulars.

Coach Fabio Capello was without Raul, Emerson, Roberto Carlos, Marcelo, Guti and Cicinho - as well as out-of-favour duo David Beckham and Ronaldo - but carved out a win.

Barcelona's win was their first in the league since they beat Real Sociedad on 9 December.

But fellow Catalan side Gimnastic are now deep in relegation trouble - with just nine points from 19 games,10 points below fourth-bottom Levante.
