2138: Graham Poll blows for full-time in Milan and it's a crucial scoreline. Lille's stunning victory means they pip AEK Athens to second place in Group H, sending the Greek side, who were second before tonight's games, into the Uefa Cup.

2133: Full-time at Old Trafford and Copenhagen. Manchester United qualify as group winners ahead of Celtic.

2132: GOAL Dynamo Kiev 2-2 Real Madrid
Ronaldo converts a penalty. That's two in two minutes for the Brazilian striker as Real Madrid recover from two goals down.

2132: The final whistle blows in Porto and the 0-0 draw means Arsenal qualify for the knock-out stage as group winners ahead of Porto.

2131: GOAL Hamburg 3-2 CSKA Moscow
Boubacar Sanogo gets what is surely the winner for Hamburg.

2130: GOAL Dynamo Kiev 2-1 Real Madrid
Ronaldo pulls a goal back for Real Madrid.

2129: The crowd are booing and whistling in Porto, probably more out of boredom than anything else.

2128: As things stand, Arsenal will finish top of Group G.

2126: GOAL Hamburg 2-2 CSKA Moscow
Arsenal and Porto can relax completely as Rafael Van der Vaart equalises for Hamburg.

2125: GOAL Anderlecht 2-2 AEK Athens
Maybe there is hope for AEK Athens as Bruno Cirillo draws them level. One more goal and it will be heartbreak for Lille.

2122: Less than 10 minutes to go at the Dragao Stadium and barring any late drama, Arsenal and Porto should both go through to the knock-out stages. With neither side willing to risk conceding a goal, its's a strangely pedestrian game.

2121: Almost the biggest cheer of the night at Old Trafford as United's Champions League hero Ole Gunnar Solskjaer comes on to replace Paul Scholes.

2118: GOAL Anderlecht 2-1 AEK Athens
Vassilis Lakis pulls one back for AEK Athens, but they need a win to avoid elimination if Lille beat AC Milan.

2118: Man Utd 3-1 Benfica
That Benfica goal seems a long time ago now. Louis Saha times his run perfectly to head in a corner and the celebrations can start at Old Trafford.

2115: GOAL Copenhagen 3-1 Celtic
Maciej Zurawski delivers a dangerous free-kick and Jiri Jarosik stretches to score a consolation. That is the first goal Copenhagen have conceded at home in the group phase.

2114: GOAL AC Milan 0-2 Lille
Abdulkader Keita strikes to double Lille's lead and as things stand, the French side are going through.

2111: That could take the shine off United's night. France left-back Patrice Evra limps off to be replaced by Gabriel Heinze.

2110: RED CARD
Hamburg are down to 10 men as former Tottenham midfielder Timothee Atouba is sent off.

2108: GOAL Hamburg 1-2 CSKA Moscow
Yuri Zhirkov' runs from the halfway line before slotting in for CSKA. That means they will qualify for the knock-out phase if there is a winner in the Arsenal-Porto game.

2106: GOAL Anderlecht 2-0 AEK Athens
It's all gone wrong for AEK Athens as Nicolas Frutos stretches Anderlecht's lead. With Lille leading, AEK are going out of the competition.

2104: GOAL Man Utd 2-1 Benfica
Cristiano Ronaldo bides his time before providing a perfect cross for Ryan Giggs to coolly head home. Benfica now need two goals to deny United a place in the knock-out phase.

2058: Arsenal are living dangerously. A mistake by Johan Djourou sees Ricardo Quaresma rattle the woodwork from 20 yards - the second time in 10 minutes.

2058: GOAL FC Copenhagen 3-0 Celtic
Marcus Allback latches onto a knock-on and flicks it over Celtic keeper Artur Boruc.

2055: Maciej Zurawski has a shot palmed away by Copenhagen keeper Jesper Cristiansen as Celtic look to recover in Denmark.

2051: Do Arsenal miss Thierry Henry? They do if that free-kick is anything to go by. Cesc Fabregas lifts it straight into the grateful Porto keeper's arms.

2049: A nervous moment for Arsenal as Ricardo Quaresma hits the post from 20 yards after a darting run by Lisandro Lopez. That could liven things up.

2047: And we're under way again.

2037: United fans might be wondering why their team didn't really bother to start attacking until Benfica scored. Still, they'll be a lot happier after Vidic's goal, which featured some comical defending. As Vidic jumped for the header, a Benfica defender was bundled over - by his team-mate.

2031: GOAL Man Utd 1-1 Benfica
Relief all round at Old Trafford. Cristiano Ronaldo wins a free-kick on the left and Ryan Giggs delivers it for Nemanja Vidic to head in. And that's half-time.

2030: The referee decides enough is enough in Porto and blows the whistle for half-time. And it's half-time in Copenhagen too.

2027: Wayne Rooney is furious when the referee waves away Paul Scholes' appeals for a free-kick. The England striker is booked for his protests.

2026: Paulo Assuncao fizzes a 25-yard shot narrowly wide in Porto, with Arsenal keeper Jens Lehmann calmly looking on.

2023: GOAL Anderlecht 1-0 AEK Athens
Bad news for AEK Athens fans as Anthony Vanden Borre puts Anderlecht ahead. AEK will go out as it stands as Lille are leading in Milan.

2020: Meanwhile in Portugal, Arsenal mount their first meaningful attack, which ends with Mathieu Flamini's shot deflected wide.

2018: United are a different team since the goal, urged on by a panicking Old Trafford crowd. They have abandoned their cautious approach of earlier in the game and Wayne Rooney has been pushed up front alongside Louis Saha.

2016: Almost an immediate response from Manchester United. Cristiano Ronaldo's drilled free-kick is punched away by Benfica keeper Quim and then Louis Saha's header from the resultant corner is cleared off the line.

2013: GOAL Hamburg 1-1 CSKA Moscow
CSKA's lead didn't last long. Besart Berisha makes it all square in Germany.

2012: GOAL Dynamo Kiev 2-0 Real Madrid
Maxim Shatskikh doubles Dynamo's lead. The Ukrainians are going out of the Champions League with a bang.

2012: GOAL Man Utd 0-1 Benfica
Is history repeating itself? Marcos Nelson fabulous strike puts Benfica ahead. They put United out last year - can they do it again?

2011: GOAL FC Copenhagen 2-0 Celtic
Celtic's defence goes walkabout again. A corner is headed back across goal where former Chelsea winger Jesper Gronkjaer is completely free to tap in.

2008: GOAL Hamburg 0-1 CSKA Moscow
Ivica Olic slots in a penalty after Milos Krasic was fouled by Timothee Athouba. As it stands, CSKA would go through if there is a winner in the Arsenal-Porto game.

2007: It's a miracle: there's been a shot on goal at the Dragao Stadium. Former Tottenham striker Helder Postiga fires straight at Arsenal keeper Jens Lehmann.

2005: It's all going on in Copenhagen. Kenny Miller is completely unmarked but somehow fails to hit the target with his header from Lee Naylor's left-wing cross.

2002: Celtic's Maciej Zurawski fires over the Copenhagen goal from a tight angle inside the penalty area.

2000: GOAL Dynamo Kiev 1-0 Real Madrid
The goals are flying in. Maxim Shatskikh puts Dynamo Kiev ahead from Valentin Belkevich's cross. Dynamo are without a win in Group E so even with victory over Real they will still finish bottom.

1959: Marcus Allback hits the underside of the bar as Copenhagen look to stretch their lead against Celtic.

1957: GOAL Lyon 1-1 Steaua Bucuresti
Alou Diarra converts a Kim Kallstrom corner to draw Lyon level.

1954: GOAL AC Milan 0-1 Lille
Stunning news from Milan - Peter Odemwingie gives French side Lille the lead against the Group H leaders. That boosts their chances of qualifying for the knock-out phase. Milan have qualified.

1953: First shot on goal at Old Trafford - Cristiano Ronaldo, who is yet to score a Champions League goal in his career, fires low and hard but it goes wide of the goal.

1951: Manchester United field a counter-attacking side, lining up in a 4-5-1 formation with Ryan Giggs, Wayne Rooney, Paul Scholes and Cristiano Ronaldo attacking from deep.

1949: GOAL Lyon 0-1 Steaua Bucuresti
Nicolae Dica just misses out on scoring the quickest goal of the night. This is a meaningless game as the placings in Group E are decided.

1946: GOAL Copenhagen 1-0 Celtic
The worst possible start for Celtic as Atiba Hutchison bundles his way through the visitors' defence and shoots low into the bottom corner. The goal is timed at 80 seconds.

1945: And we're under way.

1942: The pleasantries are taking place at all the games. Under-fire English referee Graham Poll is over in Milan tonight, enjoying a break from the pressures of the Premiership no doubt.

1933: Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger promised his side would not play for a draw at the Dragao Stadium but he's picked the more defensive Mathieu Flamini in place of Robin van Persie and Emmanuel Adebayor plays on his own up front. Hmmmm...

1929: Cristiano Ronaldo is practicing his free-kicks at Old Trafford. They're not going in though. Hopefully for Manchester United, that's not a sign of things to come.

All tonight's games will kick off at 1945 GMT. Now then, concentrate everyone, here are tonight's permutations:

  • Group E is already decided.

  • Group F Celtic have qualified but need to match Manchester United's result against Benfica to take top spot. United need a point to avoid elimination.

  • Group G Arsenal and Porto will go through with a draw in Portugal. Arsenal will go out if they lose to Porto and CSKA Moscow beat Hamburg.

  • Group H AEK Athens face bottom side Anderlecht and are certain to join Milan in the next round if they match Lille's result against the Italian giants.

Arsenal choose to play Emmanuel Adebayor as the lone striker with Robin van Persie on the bench and star-man Thierry Henry out injured. Alexander Hleb replaces Tomas Rosicky, who has a groin and hamstring injury. Defender Philippe Senderos is available after suspension, but can only find a place among the substitutes.

Sir Alex Ferguson welcomes Michael Carrick and Patrice Evra back into the Manchester United side for the visit of Benfica, with Darren Fletcher and Gabriel Heinze missing out. Benfica opted for four changes from the team that beat United in Portugal, with Nelson, Nuno Assis, Fabrizio Miccoli and Ricardo Rocha coming in.

Celtic include defender Mark Wilson, as Paul Telfer and midfielder Shunsuke Nakamura drop to the bench.
