Perrin enjoyed mixed fortunes at Portsmouth

Former Portsmouth manager Alain Perrin has been appointed coach of French Ligue 1 Sochaux.
Perrin has signed a two-year contract, having taken over from Dominique Bijotat who was sacked on Tuesday.
The 49-year-old Perrin took over at Portsmouth in April 2005 and kept Pompey in the Premiership.
But after a poor start to this season he was fired last November, paving the way for Harry Redknapp's return to Fratton Park.
Former Troyes and Marseille coach Perrin was hailed by Portsmouth fans as he masterminded their escape from relegation at the end of the 2004-2005 season.
But after Pompey won just two Premiership games under him at the start of last season chairman Milan Mandaric's patience ran out and he was fired after a 3-0 defeat at Liverpool.
Perrin's record shows just four wins in his 21 games in charge at Fratton Park.
