Marcel Desailly has said he is not looking for another club, ending his illustrious playing career.
The 1998 World Cup and 2000 European Championship winner confirmed his decision on French TV but added: "I'm going to continue to work in football."
Defender Desailly, 37, earned a French record of 116 caps before quitting international football in 2004.
The former Chelsea star made his debut with Nantes and won the European Cup with Marseille and AC Milan.
After leaving Chelsea in 2004, he played for Qatar's Al Gharafa in 2004 and has been without a club since November 2005.
