Former England and Arsenal captain Tony Adams has taken up a role as a trainee coach with Dutch side Feyenoord.
The 38-year-old will train the under-21 squad as he looks to broaden his footballing horizons and gain more experience of the European game.
Adams told the Rotterdam Dagblad newspaper: "I tested myself for some months in Italy, France and Belgium.
"The conversations I had with Feyenoord's management gave me the most welcome feelings."
He added: "I believe that I can teach players a lot with my experience but I also hope to pick up a feel of the Dutch youth programme and the structure of Feyenoord."
Adams quit as manager of League Two side Wycombe Wanderers last November for personal reasons.
