2139: FULL-TIME All the games are now over and Barcelona join Arsenal in securing their qualification on the night after Samuel Eto'o hits a hat-trick in a 5-0 hammering of Panithinaikos.

Bayern Munich miss out on their chance to go through after they lose 2-1 at Juventus.

Villarreal top Manchester United's group after their late winner at Benfica, while in Group C, Werder Bremen claimed their first win after overcoming Udinese 4-3 in a thriller.

There were victories for Ajax and Club Brugge in the night's other games.

More problems for United as they follow their defeat at Middlesbrough with another loss in France.

Arsenal qualify for the knockout stages after two second half goals from substitute Robin van Persie, added to Thierry Henry's opener, take them to victory.

2133: GOAL FC Thun 2-3 Ajax
Heartbreak for Thun as Nigel De Jong hits what must be a dramatic late winner for the Dutchmen in the first minute of injury-time.

2129: SENDING-OFF Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Juventus)
A slightly sour end to Juve's night as Ibrahimovic is dismissed for his second yellow card - picked up for a foul on Michael Ballack.

2127: GOAL Arsenal 3-0 Sparta Prague
That is definitely it now as Robin van Persie fires home from just by the penalty spot, after a pass by fellow Emmanuel Eboue, to confirm Arsenal's place in the knockout stages.

Marcos Senna fires in a quickly-taken free-kick to give the Spaniards a late lead in the other game in Manchester United's group.

David Trezeguet restores Juve's lead from Patrick Vieira's pass and Bayern's qualification hopes will have to be put on hold.

2124: Arsenal make their final substitution with Emmanuel Eboue taking over from Jose Antonio Reyes.

The comeback continues as Antonio Di Natale hits his second goal in four minutes, this time from close range, to give Udinese hope.

2059: United come within a whisker of equalising as Cristiano Ronaldo's header comes back off the Lille bar.

The Swiss minnows' glorious campaign continues as Mauro Lustrinelli equalises from Adriano's pass.

Antonio Di Natale pulls one back for the Italians with a low shot to give them hope.

2055: Seconds later in Paris, Edwin van der Sar makes an equally good save as he tips Gregory Tafforeau's left-foot free-kick over the bar.

The other games have also drawn to a close with plenty of goals flying in.

Barcelona hit four against Panathinaikos to virtually secure their place in the last 16 while there has been plenty of excitement in Belgium as Club Brugge lead Rapid Vienna 2-1.

However two of the other four games are goalless at the break.

It's surely all over at the Nou Camp already as Leo Messi captialises on a defensive mix-up to score.

2016: Mathieu Debuchy heads narrowly wide of Manchester United's far post.

2012: GOAL FC Thun 0-1 Ajax
Wesley Sneijder edges Ajax ahead from a rebound after Yannis Anastasiou's effort is blocked.

2010: GOAL Club Brugge 2-1 Rapid Vienna
The goals continue to flow in Belgium as former Aston Villa player Bosko Balaban drills home a free-kick to restore Brugge's lead.

2009: GOAL Werder Bremen 2-0 Udinese
Nelson Valdez creates his second goal of the game, this time for Frank Baumann who doubles Bremen's lead to give them a chance of their first win in the group.

2007: GOAL Arsenal 1-0 Sparta Prague
Arsenal's early dominance pays off as Thierry Henry places the ball into the bottom corner from 20 yards after a neat passing move.

2001: GOAL Werder Bremen 1-0 Udinese
Miroslav Klose heads Bremen ahead from Nelson Valdez's right-wing cross.

2000: GOAL Barcelona 2-0 Panathinaikos
Barca move closer to the knockout stages thanks to a powerful header from Samuel Eto'o. A win tonight will guarantee their place in the last 16.
